WEST ASIAN CUISINE - Ⅰ

  In our previous posts, we have covered   Northeast Asian cuisine to south Asian cuisine. We have also shared some historical influences, staple food, ingredients and some classical preparation. This one is all about the West Asian cuisine. West Asia includes countries such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Armenia, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Bahrein, Jordan, Kuwait, Gaza strip, Yemen, west bank and Oman. South Asia, which tends to have lots of different religions but in West Asia there are two main religions that are Islam and Christianity . It is situated near by North Africa & Southeast Europe surrounded by seven separate seas which includes the Black Sea, Caspian Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf, Aegean Sea, Red Sea and Arabian Sea. In our previous blog we have share some arresting  knowledge about the Northeast Asian cuisine, so our new blog is all about South Asian cuisine. South Asia comprises of Countries like India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka. The South Asian cuisine is completely different than North Asian cuisine. The North Asian cuisine has more influence of fermented sauces and herbs, but on the other side, the South Asian cuisine relies on the usage of spices and rich gravies. This cuisine is diversify into various cultural and traditional belief. Food of Southern Asia changes from one border to another coast line. The cuisine in these regions has more influence of foreign invaders, who ruled the country once. When such invaders came here, they brought a lots of unknown   ingredients from the foreign terrine. As we promised earlier in our first blog that we will discover the whole Asian cuisine, so this blog is to give you a zest about the Northeast Asian cuisine. The Northeast Asia includes countries such as China ,Japan, Taiwan, Mongolia, and South Korea. These countries though come under Asian continent but the food and culture, the climatic condition and geographical area is drastically very different from each other. The two main countries which are very well known for their food are China and Japan. Yes you read it right, let’s get together and brace ours elves on this new venture of budding chefs, where number of spices; bold and rich in fragrance, various cultures and acclaimed festivals of 48 countries and 3 territories comprising the Asian continent, ascendancy of foreign rulers, unique cooking techniques and equipments like wok, clay-pot, mortar and pestle and most importantly herbs fuse together to create one magical Asian cuisine. Thinking of Asian cuisines sure comes with a cliché idea of some spicy preparation of curries, but along with diving into diversities the cuisine has to offer, we plan to introduce you to a world of multiple methods of preparation of each. Multi-cuisine fusion preparation is another feature that we plan to bring forth, straight from our hearts to your plates.
